Trust me, the 'Kraft is cheap', 'Pats are cheap' talk will never end. Fans of opposing teams looking to disparage the Patriots have never facts get in the way of their hot air.

Of course I wouldn't be surprised if some will now say something along the lines of 'Pats trying to buy a championship' and therefore the victories don't count.

But regardless a ranking such as this one is rather meaningless. The Pats just happened to be ranked higher this year because of the contract extensions of Brady and Wilfork. It was actually a great business decision to get those contracts done in an uncapped year.
