That's another one I'm always a stickler to insist contain "regular season" because as I said earlier, team win totals as they are typically presented, without any qualifications, cover the postseason as well: "18-1, 17-0, 17-2 etc."
The Colts had the most regular season wins in the last decade
The Patriots had the most wins in the last decade

Yup, just like we put up with it when groundgame started his Sanchez is impressive thread a month ago. I chalk it up to just another example of how in an effort to say something people find it necessary to blurt out the darndest things regardless of validity...

FWIW, they can't even say that anymore. The last decade (2001-present) has the Colts with 112 regular season victories and the Pats have 118.....
We won't even add in the payoff games.....

The pundants that are ready to put the Pats in the Super Bowl are doing so because the Pats are clearly the best football team at least in the AFC at this moment. Not because of Brady's win streak. That is subsequential. The Pats have the best offense in the NFL. Their defense has given up 17 points in the last 10 quarters. They have beaten the Steelers, Ravens, Jets, Colts, Chargers, and Bears (all potential playoff teams). They have been averaging nearly 40 points a game for the last five weeks. That is why people think they are going to the Super Bowl.

The pundits are not reciting your valid points, they are primarily stating (premise: advantage of Home Field Advantage) that Brady has not lost since 2006 at home, without mentioning that he lost in home playoff game last Jan.

Regular season records are for regular season, as records like the season touchdown record, the Favre streak and the Patriots all-time win streaks have demonstrated time and again. I'm not sure how that's amusing.

If you want to discuss a different record, consecutive wins by a starting quarterback at home, including the postseason,
I am guessing that this record belongs to Tom as well:
4-0 at home at the end of 2006 (1 playoff)
10-0 at home in 2007 (perfect, 2 playoff wins)
1-0 at home to begin 2009
= 15 consecutive overall home wins
****
edit...
Brett Favre actually does own this record:
Most Consecutive Home Wins, Regular Season and Post-Season, by a Starting Quarterback, 29, Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers, 1995–1998
my apologies

Question: Do haters come onto Patsfans.com now and then just to troll our fans?
Answer: Yes, because that's what envious loser fans do with dynasties like the Patriots.
Next?
