I can't understand what some coaches are thinking.

Pittsburgh neglecting to upgrade their OLine for so long. Coming back to bite em in the ass.

New England neglecting to get some youth at LB for so long. Hurt us last year already, and will continue to hurt us this year.

I wonder what kind of 40yrd dash Bruschi, Harrison, and Vrabel would run these days? Probably slower than some offensive linemen.

The Team is NOT old, any longer.

While no one has been looking, BB and SP have rebuilt the entire team in the past three years, while they have been winning. There are but three "oldtimers" on the Defense left.

Tedy who now platoons, Rodney who was platooning after the loss of Tank Williams, and is now done; and larry Izzo whose play has been bypassed by several other ST players; and whose ST captaincy replacement was signed this past offseason. Sam Aikens will retire Larry this offseason, Harrison will retire, and Tedy might play as a sub and mentor for one more year, maybe. But even that is not clear. Vrabel's play is off because no one can do it alone, but he is not too old by the calendar.

The only age left on Offense, is Kevin Faulk. The Offense is full of guys in their prime and youngsters. The Defense is even younger.

This team is younger, by far, than any of the other Belichick teams of the dynastic run.

I'll grant though this Team has lots of good talent on IR, and I DO NOT include Rodney in that category. Unlike other BB teasm ther are actully severlpositions that depth is not superb now.

We could use a OLB and and ILB, and OL and a Safety. But all those positions and more, will be filled inthe draft this off-season. The NFL ought to beware.

What this teams lacks from the championship years is the

six linebacker rotation which kept everyone fresh. Every

player in the rotation was a good linebacker so there was

no drop off in production.

Crable is out for year. I think the only reason why Crable hasn't played this year is because of a lagging leg injury. There is no reason to think he wouldn't be out on the field like Guyton and Mayo. He had a really good preseason. I think he will be next year's Lamar Woodley.

we lack that but we also lack a good pass rusher or pass rushers(Colvin for all his criticism made plays) Vrabel is not his younger self.
