Felt like I was watching non SEC college D by all four teams today. Today really did feel like "professional" college football. It makes you wonder what the hell TB12 is going to put up tomorrow.

Just heard Deion on GameDay just now say that the Patriots defense is the one remaining that is "suspect" of the teams left. I do not know why but it kind of vexed me, I guess, and still does that most mediots still think that this is the defense of early in the year or even 2011.

I really hope that we fans get to see the continued improvement of this young defense that really started to blossom in December and continues to improve this postseason, starting tomorrow night.

If you are going to troll, at least make an effort to be an interesting troll.

Epic fail.

The Pats defense is not overall better than Houston, certainly not better than Seattle or SF and about on par with Baltimore........the Pats will win if the offense takes care of business.

I guess that was what vexed me about Deion's comment. I also agree that while not better than Seattle or SF, New England's defense is closer to the Baltimore at this point, but with more upside because they have a lot of young players whereas the Ravens are an older and banged up unit.

Houston's defense has not played well down the stretch, IIRC, and I am not entirely sure that they are significantly better than the New England defense. The loss of Cushing to IR has become more manifest as the season has progressed, and the lack of a complimentary pass rusher to Watt has exposed the secondary some when he (Watt) is neutralized.

I would rank them SF > Seattle > Hou > with Baltimore and New England on par for the moment.

You're welcome to that opinion. I'm not sure many people here will agree with you.

Have to laugh at the popular perceptions. Denver has that great defense huh? Because of injuries and suspensions, the Patriots have not had their defensive personnel together until now. The past hardly matters.
