11-5, got smoked in their first playoff game, 23-0 by Carolina.
8-8, lost 6 of their last 8, barely got into the playoffs, then lost in the WC round to Philly
10-6, barely won their last 3 playoff games, and got the luckiest play in NFL history to beat the Pats
12-4, lost 3 of their last 4, then lost in their first playoff game to Philly, 23-11
8-8, lost 8 of their last 11, missed the playoffs
10-6, lost 2 of their last 3, missed the playoffs
9-7, barely made the playoffs, then got a ridiculous amount of fumble luck along the way and beat the Pats by a yard (that was how close Gronk came to making the catch on the Hail Mary)
9-7, hopefully miss the playoffs anyway
Most teams would take that record over an 8 year period. I mean, two titles is two titles. But they've been, for the most part, a slightly better than average team (4 of 8 seasons were 8-8 or 9-7, and only two were better than 10-6....total win% of .592) that has had two remarkable, amazing, ridiculous runs.
Bah....I'm just being bitter I guess.......
