Regardless, we're going to have to beat some good teams to win the SB. They're not going to roll over for us. I don't see any teams out there that are unbeatable (ourselves included).

Yes, that is the way it usually goes.

I absolutely do not want to play the Giants either, but that's more because of the emotional baggage that game would carry. As a team, they frankly aren't all that good. The potential is surely there, but I'd say the Texans, Broncos, Ravens and Packers are better teams.

The way the NFL has played this season, I'd say that, on any given Sunday, roughly half the teams in the league -- all those making the playoffs and probably even a few who will miss out -- could beat the Patriots in a close game. (That's why I think a 1st round bye could prove crucial!) That said, when on top of their game, the Patriots can absolutely take any team in the league, and potentially in blowout fashion.

And, by the way, I think the Pats could very reasonably snag one of those top two seeds. For one, Baltimore has a fairly stout final month of the season. And I expect the Colts, who will be clawing for their playoff lives, to win one of those two matchups against the Texans.

Last time I checked Denver is an outdoor cold weather stadium. I'm not concerned about Sir Dome-Head outdoors in the cold.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

Only the Pack O scares me. The concern would be if our D can slow them enough for Tom to win that shoot out. If not, it's really a long game of TD after TD I don't think anyone wants to risk playing at.

One misstep and the other team wins.

That said, I think we can stop Rodgers. I think he's the B**** everyone pretends Brady is. Knock him around, he's not throwing well hurried lately.

As for the Giants. Well, I think we can beat them, it's just losing to them would feel worse than beating them would feel great.

The Patriots have been overachievers the past two years. It doesn't have the talent to compensate for injuries, and it wins so much because it puts in 99% effort in the regular season and plays with terrific schemes to mask its deficiencies.

But in the playoffs a good team at 99% will not beat emotional, talented teams that play at 100%. It's what happened against the Giants in 2011 and the Ravens in 2012.

Green Bay has 2 major issues on offense:

1. They have no running game. They're averaging less than 100 YPG rushing and have only 2 rushing TDs on the season. THat makes them one-dimensional, and easier to game plan against. The history of one dimensional passing teams in the playoffs is usually not pretty.

2. Their offensive line has issues. Brian Bulaga is on IR, forcing TJ Lang to RT.

The Packers are a good team, and obviously capable of getting hot and winning it all. But history doesn't favorable pass-happy one-dimensional teams.

Unhappy Re: Denver on the road

It looks like my only wish not to happen ,,IS going to happen !! Damn i hate playing them at Mile High. This is not the same Denver we defeated twice last year. I was always worried about this one. If Cleveland doesn't beat them next week than thats it ,we will be seeded 3,,,however crazy as it sounds i told my sons today that i fancied Cleveland for the upset !!
Heres wishing .

Denver's not going to lose to the Browns or Chiefs, at Mile High. Texans will be #1 seed, Broncos will be #2 seed.

I've LOVE for the Pats to drop another game and become the 4th seed, go to Houston and get them out of the way for us. Then you all can come to Denver for the AFC Championship game. That would be swell. I'd love nothing more then to take our revenge against the Pats for the right to be in the Superbowl. It would be a great game I'm sure. Only this time there will be no Joe Mays on the field. That guy has no right to even be on an NFL field. We've made a few more tweaks on defense with our secondary that has paid off and DJ back will help also. It's going to be a good game, I have no doubts about that, a fight to the end. Anybody who thinks this game would be anything but, either way, is an idiot.
