Default Revis Possible ACL injury (update: torn ACL confirmed; out for rest of the season)

Being reported by Jason La Confora of CBS Sports that Jets fear Derrelle Revis has an injured ACL.

Not that I wish injury upon anyone, but the memory of the Jets players unable to contain their excitement when Brady tore his ACL is seared into my mind!

Screw em!!!!

Ouch. That hurts the Jets and helps the Pats. Wasn't there some contract issue this past off season. That can't help his case.

You should never wish injury on anyone. Pretty low that.

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.

Tough break for Revis - great player.

To be honest, i'd rather not look to the conduct of Jets players as a guide on how to react to any given situation - enjoying injuries is just classless (with the possible exception of it happening to those who actively injure others)

Best Cornerback in a decade....

I wish that the report is false and Revis gets back on the field A.S.A.P.

That much Talent is too sad to see wasted on an IR list

You are probably right!

I am just trying to justify my guilty pleasure.

I know I shouldn't be happy hat the Jets may have lost their best player for the year, BUT I AM....can't lie!!!

I believe this is a contract year for Revis

I would think injuries like this may hurt negotiations just a tad bit.

The day after Brady's ACL injury in 2008.

I live in NY so I was able to see whole bunch of clips of Jets player unable to stop smiling when talking about Brady's injury.

Favre looked like a little kid on Christmas morning!

i watched the Doofin Jester game....and the truth of the mater is the Jets D sucks with Revis and it will suck without Revis.

The game was a comedy of errors and I know it's early, but I'd be shocked if the Pats don't go 5-1 or 6-0 against this pathetic division.
