Default Carolina Panthers C Ryan Kalil puts ad in paper telling fans they will win Super Bowl

No,its not Rex Ryan this time.....its Panthers C Ryan Kalill declaring the Panthers to surely win it all this year....so sure of it that he took a full page out in the local NC paper as noted in the link.

In your opinion is this craziness to proclaim something early that is so hard to do?,or do you think it's cool that a player expresses his prediction to his fan base and get them excited after a 6-10 season and missing the playoffs the past 6 years?

They were the #2 the Giants were the #1. Both got bounced in the divisional round.

No problem. It's like one of those used car classifieds, you don't get charged until the car is sold.

He could have that running for years.

Did he proclaim what year it was going to happen?

He has a chance as the best team doesn't always win the SB and if you can put it all together, even a 9-7 team can win it all .

Has any of these bold predictions ever come true? Seems like a death wish to me.

I like it. It's nothing like what Rex says.

Even though he does say they'll win it, the ad is far more an "exhortation" than a "prediction." He's also thanking the fans for their loyalty over the years.

Well written. Well done. As my Aussie friends would say, "Good on ya, mate."

We need more guys like him and a lot fewer guys like Dez Bryant in the NFL.
