The only RBs that IMO can be brought into the discussion of comparing to Brown are Emmitt, Walter and Barry.
I'd remove Barry as power wasn't really his game which was a quality Emmitt and Walter had. He was close to Brown's career YPC. Just explosive.
Payton played every game with a bullseye on his back on mostly god awful teams. Sanders did too. Incredibly productive for a long time.
Emmitt played for great offensive lines and great teams so his job was a bit easier but that's a little weak. On the other hand he was incredibly productive for a long time and fumbled every 80 touches- great at ball security. Sanders was even better at 83 or so touches. Brown and Payton fumbled every 46 and 50 touches respectively. Still decent.
LT fumbled once every 127 touches which is incredible but doesn't have the ypc or career longevity that the other RBs that I mention had.
Great career though. He does deserve some props.
I'd still pick Brown.
