Gracious, funny stuff.

Also, payback -- Taylor is the guy widely assumed to have cast a vote for Brady in the poll for the league's dirtiest player.

He coulda been a contendah...or at least not a total mercenary...Dolphins carrying him off the field would be akin to Patriots carrying Adam off if he decided to return here for one last season where he knew we had no shot...

I think that scene is one of the reasons Parcell's didn't want him in Miami. Not that he got it right but he was trying to change the culture into one where winning was the measure.

Tom and Jason are very very good friends, it's well documented.

Yup... Lots of mutual respect from Belichick for Taylor too.

Honestly I think the guy can still play and showed as much in his last game... But I think he knows the Fins aren't a contender next year and he doesn't want to move and play elsewhere

I was surprised when he bought into Wrecks Ryan's Super Bowl guarantee last year and agreed to play there... After one season he clearly saw what a waste of time that was.

If he has a change of heart and wants to "graduate" and try out with the Patriots I for one would love to see him give it a go.
