Default OT: Matt Schaub has a "signficant" foot injury, out Week 12 or longer

Since the Texans are primary contender for HFA throughout the playoffs, this is relevant news. From Rotoworld:

Quote:
Texans coach Gary Kubiak revealed at his Monday press conference that Matt Schaub is dealing with a "significant" foot injury, and will be out for at least Week 12.

Matt Leinart will be under center following the Texans' Week 11 bye. Schaub was able to stay in the game after suffering the injury in the second quarter Sunday, but required the aid of a walking boot afterward. He will meet with a specialist later this week, and is without a timetable for a return. The injury comes right as the Texans are set to get Andre Johnson (hamstring) back following a six-week absence, and clouds the race for the top seed in the AFC. The Texans can be expected to lean on Arian Foster and Ben Tate more than ever in Schaub's absence, making Leinart a poor fill-in if you're an owner

HFA looks pretty wide open to me at this point. I'm hoping he's OK.

Default News which could impact the Playoff seeding: Schaub is injured

Quote:
Kubiak says Schaub will see specialists this week. Kubiak “hopes” Schaub can play again this season, but isn’t sure whether that will be possible. Gulp.

I agree. I don't hate the texans and if this is a significant injury it sucks for them.

Q: How do you say "Matt Leinart" in Spanish?
A: "Mark Sanchez"

If the Pats go 13-3, HFA will be theirs. I don't see Pitt going 13-3- not with SF playing @ home vs them.

Considering that Houston may be the strongest AFC team at the moment, this is important news.

Interesting developments today. Eric Wood got IR today. significantly makes the Bills OL very weak.
