Same old song and dance: Cedric Benson becomes the third Cincinnati Bengal to be arrested in the last week.

I seem to recall a few people here thinking the Pats should sign Benson a while back. It's tough for a player to contribute to a team if Sheriff Goodell suspends him. I'll be curious to see if the NFLPA contests player suspensions for actions that occurred during the lockout, or if that will be negotiated as part of the new CBA.

As for the Bengals, they're starting to look like the team that got so much negative publicity a few years ago it was one of the primary reasons for the NFL instituting the personal conduct policy.
