I'm kind of surprised he came back, considering how he was waffling on whether or not to play this offseason. Maybe he missed the game more than he thought he would - or found his new life to be more monotonous than he thought it would be, who knows?

Ultimately he did come back to the Pats, so he did have some motivation to play. Pats must of thought it wasn't enough.

Looks like Burgess' stay in Philadelphia did not last very long.

He spent the 2010 preseason with the Saints but was released in the final roster cut.

Desperation. They lost Brandon Graham and Nate Allen because of turf-related injuries. When will idiot owners wise up?

At least the Patriots have quality turf this year unlike last....grass would be better but that is not going to happen...
