Why would Patriots fans have sour grapes with Colts fans.

3 rings in 4 Super Bowls this decade.
The last of which was 2004.

It's been a while.

The Steelers had 4 SBs in the 70s.

The 49ers in the 80s.

The Cowboys won 3 in the early 90's.

Most of the players from your last SB winning team are gone.

This year your team was blown out by a team the Colts easily beat.

The Colts have beaten the Pats 5 out of the last 6 times they've played.

The Manning/Brady debate is tipping heavily in Manning's favor....

Plus anytime the Colts dow well Pats fans stew in their juices.

So all that plus some other stuff would account for the sour grapes I guess.

Yeah, it's clearly all luck.

Too bad the Pats weren't lucky against the Ravens this year.

Dungy had a winning record in TB.

BB had a losing record in Cleveland.

And no, no restrictions on starting Colts threads. I actually enjoy them being a Colts fan. All the sour grapes and whining around here is fun to read and help fill the void till the SB.

But I do find it ironic that Pats fans are complaining about the media attention Manning and the Colts are getting while right here on a Pats site the Colts seem to be one of the most popular topics.
no one is complaining about attention.they are in the SB , there are to be covered. iam sure colts boards are covered with pats threads too when they are in news.
he had a winning record in TB but his playoff record was abysmal even with colts .lost home playoff games after a first round bye twice.
If you think dungy is a better coach than BB then you are mistaken...

colts actually fired ron meeks and their ST coach this yr after caldwell came in both of whom were dungy guys. The present colts team was built by polian and manning, not much by dungy.

You just showed that you're not even reading the posts, mostly just picking out the parts that seem to 'disrespect' your team? Did I not say the Colts were a great team for some time and deserved it? I'm sorry if it offends you that you got a favorable draw in '06, the most favorable draw of the decade aside from the '08 Steelers.

And the present 10-6 Pats team that was blown out by the Ravens, at home, was built by BB right?

Well I'm sure Dungy had some say in the defense, since they are playing his scheme. Plus he built a good team in Tampa that eventually won a SB

No doubt '06 was a good draw. A big part of most eventual SB victories is luck, and they had it that year.

They also got a good draw this year. Toward the end of the season, it was looking more like they'd have to beat both the Pats & Chargers in succession just to make the SB, which I think would have been a tall order given history.

They didn't luck out with the Saints, though; I think the Colts would have had an easy time with MN. With the Saints, not so much...

What are you trying to prove here, that Dungy never lost games in the Wild Card round? His typical season is a loss in the WC/Divisonal round, while that's a down season for BB. That should probably tell you something......

Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning.
