Well, you're basically supporting my point. I agree that Manning is an extremely talented QB and yes, Manning has beaten the Pats often in the last 4 years, but just once in the playoffs. Even during the Colts '06 SB run, Manning still didn't demonstrate the same high level of play that he does during the regular season.
As recently as last year, following an MVP performance and 9 consecutive wins to close out the regular season, the Colts folded at home in the first round.
So while the Pats haven't won a SB for a few years, it's not because Brady suddenly becomes a different QB in the post season.
