Default OT: Madden Curse strikes week 1

Polamalu....apparent MCL out 6 weeks....

Larry Fitz is probably trying to shake it off.

Please, Brady...never do the cover of Madden.

I'd like to see Polomalu come back quicker than that. As I mentioned in the game thread, I don't like the Steelers but I do like Polomalu.

What you may not know is that Brady made the cover of Backyard Football 2009 which of course was prior to game 1 at KC last year.

Looks like covers of ANY game are Jinxes

Agreed, he looked even faster and better than last year last night.

I dont like to see injuries either, but there is a part of me thats smiling just a bit. Weren't the Steelers fans the one who made up the Bernard Pollard fan club t-shirts after Brady got hurt last year. As they say, karma is a b!tch.

I never, ever root for injuries...but the Steelers defense has a bunch of flat out punks on it who seem to go around trying to inflict injury instead of just play the game (James Harrison embarrassed himself on that punt in the SB), so I'm not overly sympathetic to Polamalu and his MCL injury, if you get my drift.

I totaly respect the way guys like Troy and Ray Lweis play the game. It's a shame whenever someone gets injured, but it is unfortunately a huge part of the game.

I have to say that I was nearly sick when I saw the slo-mo review of his hit. The left leg was bending sideways at the knee while his thigh was almost vertical.

So one guy on a messageboard makes a T shirt, so then you assume that the entire fan base agrees with him.
