I think the Vikings would be wise to turn their backs on the Favre fiasco and sign Vick to a prove-it deal. He offers much more upside to that offense IMO, especially if they plan on using Percy Harvin in a wildcat role. A backfield of Vick, Harvin and Peterson would at the very least make that stagnant offense one of the leagues most interesting to watch.

That IMO all but guarentees he will be signed to be a wild cat xfactor type or just a flat out back up and not to compete for QB1.

I just cant see a team signing him and than having to have a fill in QB for 4 games.

Use the Vikings as an example as the above poster did. Sign Vick and what Jackson starts first 4 games? oh yeah that is a great way to start week one of the season hey Jackson we think you are such a good QB go out and win some football games for us but come week 5 we have someone better than you.


all that said who ever signs him will have a very intriguing back up QB.

Yeah, no way Vick is signed to be the man at QB. If something were to happen to a teams QB during the course of the season, maybe. He's going to be used as an offensive weapon at quite a few positions.

Btw, no way in hell the Vikings start 0-4. They play Detroit in the second game.

Why is this asinine? Vick's paid his debt to society. The NFL is further suspending him. If a team wants to take a chance on him, the team and Vick should be granted that right.

Stallworth will get similar treatment in 2010.
