He had one bad season, didn't Brady? By the way, what has the Rams did since he left? I am not sticking up for Warner because I dont like how he brings up the LORD when making his decision when all along it was about the money. He was offered $10mill to stay with AZ but he cried about getting 14mill. Many people loosing homes and jobs and mr religion makes comments like this.

And they got rid of him a year later.

Having the greatest offense on earth certainly helped him. Holt, Bruce, Proehl, Faulk.

Look at Brady, he was great when he had Patten as a first choice.

Here's Warner's middle years:

2005 Arizona Cardinals 11-9 85.8
2004 New York Giants 6-4 86.5
2003 St. Louis Rams 1-1 72.9
2002 St. Louis Rams 3-11 67.4

25 TDs and 25 Interceptions over a 4 year period. This is worth $12 million a year? Kitna or Kerry Collins could do his job adequately, or heck, Marc Bulger.

No, Warner had a hand injury and fumbled the ball like hansel dropped breadcrumbs. Same thing in NY. Looks like he got his hand healed up and is back to being a pretty good QB. Bulger, by the way, seems to have taken a giant dump on the field.

Admit it people, he's a good QB who makes good reads and gets rid of the ball quickly.

This is just absurd.

One bad season? Huh? Try 5 bad seasons in a row.

Brady has never had a bad season. show me a bad season by Brady. His numbers have been remarkably consistent. If 2006 was his bad year, Warner would love to have 2 more years like that, throwing for 26 TDs and 12 INTs witha 88 rating.

Granted Warner probably gave the Cards got a small home town discount, but still, if the market for him is roughly 11.5 million per year, can anyone really doubt that Cassel's guaranteed $15 million salary make would make him one of the most expensive unproven commodities in NFL history? Say what you like about Warner, but he's a known quantity and definitely proven that he has what it takes to take a team to the Superbowl. Looks like, if anything, history might show that Pioli did the Pats a big favor.

And as stupid as the Vikings are, bringing in Rosenfels when they could have easily gotten Cassel speaks volumes about his perceived value at that price.

Obviously I can't convince people who ignore all the stats and say Warner only had one bad season.

Put it this way. With out Warner last season, the Cards would have been watching the Playoffs on TV. GUARANTEED!!!!! One bad read and the Cards would have won that SB

I don't think Bulger is better. I think Bulger is awful. That's the point.

LOL!!!! That's saying a lot for a team that barely made it into the playoffs. Ridiculous.
