FOX Sports on MSN - NFL Review - NFL Truths: Peyton's a choker, LT is done in S.D.

Quote:
Man, this is a bad day for me. LT and Peyton Manning are two of my favorite players, but I have to keep it real.

LT's injury saved the Chargers. With a healthy LT, Sproles never gets his chance to dominate the Colts. Darren "Seabiscuit" Sproles is an every-down back. Yes, he's small, but the Biscuit, like the legendary undersized thoroughbred, is made to run with the big dogs.

I've been watching Seabiscuit make fools of bigger men ever since he starred at Olathe North High School, 20 minutes from my home. When he signed with Kansas State, I had my doubts. He put a clown suit on me and everyone in the Big 12.

What he did to the Colts on Saturday — 328 all-purpose yards — did not surprise anyone who saw him play in high school and college. The Biscuit is off the chains.

LT should be on the trading block this offseason. He'd be a wonderful addition to the Patriots.

I know I treat NFL players like they're on my fantasy team sometimes but I really wondered last year if SD should tradeTomlinson and re-sign Rivers. Tomlinson had a lot of miles on the legs and RB don't last forever.

Honestly, I'm content with the quad of morris, maroney, jordan, and faulk...

I'm sorry, but doesn't cut it. This calls for

Then again, seeing as he thought the Patriots should sign Jeff George, I really shouldn't be that surprised.

That column also goes on at length to equate Matt Millen and OJ Simpson.

Please, no more Whitlock links, at least not with the suggestion they be taken seriously.

I'd take Sproles over LT at this stage

The fat man from Kansas City lives by the shock value statements. At least he kept race out of it this time, in the three points of his I read anyway. His point #8 is right on.

A few weeks back I heard someone speculate that his could be LTs last year period nevermind as a Charger. But basically I recall the bit saying that the injuries and tough playoff loses have been taking its toll on LT and that he seems really down about football. This is many weeks old paraphrasing and I can't remember where I heard or read this so take it for what it is.

He'd be a wonderful addition to the Patriots.... Funny line.

I always thought he was a juicer based on the stories that he would have great 1st half play and then fall off significantly in the 2nd half. Whatever. Classless POS.
