he constantly has some issue with BB even when he has to prepare for the biggest game of the season and is in a different division

Childress might be without two of his starting linemen but he hasn't lost his sense of humor. After giving reporters the update on his four-man injury report, Childress looked at the Eagles' 11-man injury report and poked fun at his former boss, Eagles coach Andy Reid.
"That's Belichick-esque," Childress said referring to the lengthy injury reports usually submitted by New England coach Bill Belichick.

A couple of years ago the Pats played in Minnesota on national TV, I believe, and beat the Vikings like a Salvation Army drum. The local and national media, correctly, compared and contrasted BB's coaching in the game with Childress's (unfavorably, obviously). That's my guess.

there was also the garrett mills episode. i want the vikings to win but cant root for them as long as he is the coach. and he is a horrible coach too. he punted with less than 2 mins remaining against tennense in the hopes of getting the ball back.Tenn just took a knee 3 times. Thats was hilarious.

As somebody once said, nobody knows how to utterly embarrass an opponent better than the Patriots.

I was at the week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers this year which was the week after the Colts debacle where the Vikes did nothing but score field goals then let Peyton drill down the field in the last few minutes to win the game.
Also note that this game against the Panthers was the week that Childress benched Tavaris Jackson for Gus Frerotte.
Anyways... the Vikes went 3 and out at the start of the Panthers on their first drive which sent 98% of the Dome into a frenzy of "FIRE CHILDRESS" chants. Childress should be at least thankful for Antoine Winfield's fumble recovery that he ran in for a TD that brought the Vikes up 10-7 at halftime because I suspect he would of heard that same "FIRE CHILDRESS" chant going into the tunnel.
The game wound up with a 20-10 Vikes win which was the first win of the season. Of course that win was followed by the said Titans debacle that SVN mentioned. I remember myself as Spock would say... "using some colorful metaphors" at Childress when he made that "smart" decision.
I honestly don't think that Childress will be liked or even respected here in Minnesota even if the Vikes win the Super Bowl this year. His attitude is very off putting and coldish, his decisions are just mind blowingly confusing at times or just plain dumb. Benching AP a few series for being late to a team function by a few minutes comes to mind - yeah, jeopardize winning a game over something silly why doncha Brad. Especially when its the FACE of the franchise too.
Yeesh..... yep, I can't wait to get rid of this Chilly Willy. Of course it could be worse than Chilly Willy..... Ratgeni quickly comes to mind. *ick*
