Hypocrite Spygate Reporter Chris Landry reportedly fired for plaigarism
Just an interesting side note to the focus on Chris Landry's plagiarism case - the strong and apparently hypocritical words he had for Belichick as noted in ProfotoballTalk
Finally, one of the items that still appears on Landry’s archive deals (ironically) with last year’s dominant NFL ethics scandal, known commonly as Spygate. Titled “Above The Law,” Landry had very strong words for Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
“Just like I would not steal from their pockets,” Landry writes, “I would not steal their information. . . . I could also look myself in the mirror and sleep well at night, something I could not have done if I had cheated them.
“Perhaps what Belichick lacks in a conscience he makes up for in arrogance. Knowing him as I do, Bill is sorry for the embarrassment that he has caused to himself and the organization but would do it again if he could be sure that he wouldn’t get caught. Seeing himself as the premier coach in the game, perhaps he felt superior and above everyone else.”
If it turns out that Landry is the party who is guilty of plagiarism, he might be chewing on those words for a long, long, long time.
I can't help but wonder about the hypocrisy of so many other players, coaches, reporters, and individuals who spoke out so righteously against a practice that has been proven to have been going on going back 50 years http://www.thesportgallery.com/sport...ug-nflspy.html

You mean the hypocrisy of a player Like Schlereth who was at the forefront of Patriot spygate bashing despite using performance enhancers and playing on a team that decided it was OK to pay players of the books (not on the Salary Cap).

No one annoyed me more during the whole Scandal than Schlereth.

I like the article about Colts lb Hagler pressing charges against his ex-girlfriend
for slapping him with an open hand. Do we need any more proof the Colts are
all girly-men?
Re: OT: Hypocrit Spygate Reporter reportedly fired for Plaigarism
LOL! I love when people take the moral high ground on an issue and get caught doing something worse. Sorry, but plaigarism is a far worse crime in journalism than videotaping signals is in the NFL. Videotaping signals wasn't even technically illegal until recent years while plaigarism is one of the worst crimes in journalism, not the worse (I think falsifying sources in damaging stories is worse - hello John Tomase and the NY Times).

I'm with you. He WAS the worst of many. To this day, I can't even look at or listen to him for more than 10 seconds, or so, and that's not an exaggeration. What a sleaze-bag.

Absolutely any time I hear or see him I change the Channel.
