As a UVA season ticket holder for 25 years, I can tell you that you will love Ras-I Dowling who projects to be the best Wahoo defender you've seen in Foxboro since Chris Slade (also a second rounder?). I've been a Pats fan since I could pronounce the names Babe Parilli and Gino Capilletti of the old original AFL while growing up in the Berkshires (Pittsfield). The Boomer is my handle in tribute to George Scott who won the Eastern League triple crown in 1965 the year when I got my first youth season tickets to the AA Pittsfield Red Sox. I actually met and spoke to my Celtics hero, John Havlicek, a number of times in person when his son played basketball at UVA and love all Hub sports teams from afar here in the Boston sports rooting diaspora. Since I've been so afflicted for most of the last 50 years, I can tell you that you have no complaints whatsoever about the current state of the Patriots franchise. Belichick is truly a genius.
