He didn't pick the players I thought he would a couple weeks ago.... but he DID trade up like I thought.

I think he wouldve traded up even further but thankfully all of the pass rushers fell, and then Bruce Irvin of all people got drafted which pushed the top pass rushers back to us more.

Whats funny is these guys on ESPN and NFLN who get paid big bucks to be analysts, and they were "shocked" when we traded up.

All they had to do was look at our pre draft contacts to see we were targeting players slated to go way higher than we were picking. and while we didn't pick those players, it still showed Belichick had it in his mind a few weeks before the draft that he was WILLING to trade up if he liked a prospect enough.
