He posted them on NFL Draft Countdown. Here's a link to thread. Not good news this year. No picks. BUt, looking good for next year. A 3 and a 5 for Asante and Gay in 09 looks to be in the cards.

Not this year. We lost Graham. Which would have probably gotten us a 3rd or 4th.
But, we signed A.Thomas,D.Stallworth and K.Washington. I didn't see other thread. Sorry, didn't see. You can merge ...For Mods

So basically... the Pats get absolutely no comp picks?

Right now the Pats have signed Jason Webster, Sam Aiken, and Tank Williams. They've lost Samuel (9.5 million), Gay (4 million), Stallworth (5 million). Eugene Wilson still remains unsigned, but could go in the 2 million range.
Shefter is reporting that Webster signed for 2.2 million. He'll probably off-set Gay. Aiken and Williams may or may not count depending on what they signed for, contract wise.
Samuel will net the Pats a 3rd and Stallworth a 4th, most likely.

We better hope that at least one of Aiken and Williams doesn't count, or that Wilson signs a qualifying contract somewhere else--because if you sign the same number of qualifying FAs as you lose, then no matter how small those qualifying contracts are, the best you can hope for is a seventh-round pick.

That's false also. 1 million signing doesn't off-set a 9.5 million loss. They have to be in similar brackets.

If those are the only FA events, then, sadly, they do cancel out.

It is possible for a team to get a compensatory pick even if it doesn’t suffer a net loss of qualifying free agents. That type of comp picks come at the end of the seventh round, after the normal comp picks and before the non-compensatory picks that are added if fewer than 32 comp picks are awarded. There have been 12 of these “net value” type of comp picks awarded, and in each case, the combined value of the free agents lost was significantly higher than the combined value of the free agents signed. In all 12 cases, those teams lost the same number of qualifying free agents as they signed. No team has been awarded a comp pick after signing more qualifying free agents than it lost, no matter how significant the difference in combined value. This year, I’m projecting that Atlanta will receive a net-value comp after losing three qualifying players (Patrick Kerney, Ashley Lelie and Justin Griffith) and signing three qualifying players (Ovie Mughelli, Lewis Sanders and Marcus Wilkins). The combined values of the players Atlanta lost was more than twice as much as the combined values of the players it signed.
