I will enjoy the 2 weeks in between. Last year it was a painful 2 weeks of nervousness, stress and being reminded of the game that shalt not be named against the Giants - ESP living in the NY/NJ area. No fun at all.
This time around - I am going to soak it in.
Ofcourse - we have to win on Sunday and praying for that to happen in a convincing fashion. Have a good feeling.

How Hilarious is it that for 2 years in a row Brady has been hailed as the "3rd best QB in the NFL" (Rodgers and Brees ahead of him in '11, Manning and Rodgers ahead of him in '12) and for 2 YEARS the two heralded by the mediots ahead of him couldn't even win a DIVISIONAL playoff game
It just makes me mad. Brady gets less credit for doing more. I think the casual fan is just bored with him being successful at this point, so he gets ignored. His style of play isn't always the most exciting to watch either, so that's probably a factor as well.
I've taken to just soaking it all in, I get really nervous right before the games start but now I relish anything this team gives us. I used to really pay attention to the media, but realized its all a hate machine filled with jealousy and reporters sick of writing patriots stories.
Now if we do win the SB I will tune into ESPN to watch all the jag off haters eat their crow and still try saying Rodgers is better than Brady while laughing hysterically in my super bowl champ gear
Pretty much. if the Pats make the Super Bowl, then I'll have a hard time taking in the fact that the Pats will have made 6 of them since 2001. If not, then I like the 49ers and Falcons, and as much as I don't like most of the Ravens, I actually kinda like Reed, Lewis, Flacco, Ngata and Smith. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to see them win.

Umm no. That is unacceptable!! We cannot lose to those trash-talking, ego maniacs! Ayanbadejo tried to trash our franchise and then tried to take it back. I ain't buying it. Ray Lewis has tried to make the playoffs all about his 'farewell tour'. SCREW THEM!!
I want a Pats victory this Sunday! I would have hated losing to Peyton Manning, but nearly as much I would hate losing to the Ravens, especially after they try to bring up Spygate and all that other bullcrap.
This is completely out of my control, but I have FAITH in the Pats. I will not have to endure the media buttkissing of Ray Lewis after an upset Ravens win. NO THANK YOU!!
i just want atlanta to win so bad..but dont think they will
It will require the 49ers to shoot themselves in the foot several times. This seems to happen about 50% of the time to teams playing road games, so lets not write off the birds just yet. This would be the time for a young player like Kaepernick to hit his head on the ceiling.
Edit: the more I think about it, the more I think Atlanta is not getting a fair shake being 4 point dogs at home. They just beat a team that's a mirror image of SF in a game they controlled for 3 quarters. Also, the Niners just played at home against a dream matchup in the Packers, who they match up extremely well with. And although everyone remembers the Pats game, overall the Niners were -20 in point diff on the road this year. That gamely Gillette was an anomaly for the Niners, and Atlanta is tough in the GA dome. I'm calling this a coin flip.

The unwashed masses have a fairly bad track record when it comes to acting thoughtful. They are reactionary and impulsive, logic and truth are frequently discarded. I asked my cousin (on my wife's side, California people) about TFB. "Oh god, he is full of himself" and often a mention of abandoning his poor pregnant girlfriend for a model. When I asked an ESPN reporter sitting next to me on the plane about TFB (a couple of years ago), she said "he is that guy who has too many options" (she liked PM. No!). The very casual fans at my work, their take on BB gets the frequent "he cheated to win?" or "oh, he seems is a (insert word meaning not a nice person)".
Ultimately no one other than the specific fans of a winner, typically likes a winner when they win too often (generally speaking). It's frequently human nature to let envy cloud judgment. TFB is voted as overrated by some of his peers. BB gets disrespect from the coaching "brotherhood". It is rank, impulsive envy. NEVER take to heart what someone says when their words are clouded by envy. TFB's record speaks for itself in an undeniable fashion. Those who try to knock him/his record down should be laughed at versus giving them the pleasure of getting an emotional rise out of you.

he has shown no signs of that at all this year. Maybe the SB will be too much for him..but this game shouldn't be
