Maybe it's just me (and not a statistical analysis - just my gut feeling here); but this year's Pats doesnt seem all that BAD WEATHER DOMINANT like they were in the early 2000s when they got that rep.
In the few cold weather games they have had; I dont recall them outperforming anyone that greatly.
So, I am not so sure that snow would change the outcome much and might even be a detriment to the team. As an offensive powerhouse we might just be better off in a track meet on a clean field to see if they can match up.
Personally of course; I still like to see the snow. Football as it was meant to be.
If my subjective viewpoint is true (that they are not snow-dominant this year):
Not sure what the reason WHY would be either. If it is TB-how he throws (which I dont think has changed), or his receivers -how well these guys catch wet/cold balls (which is more likely), or just all-around mental toughness (which is IMO is likely biggest part).
That was my knock on this team way-back-when they were 3-3 (is they didnt seem as motivated to go 'full tilt/full-time' as it were and perservere through tough situations). They are much better now; but we'll see how it goes the next two weeks. They should beat any 2 of Texans-Ratbirds-Donkeys; but any given you know what.
