Coach Bill disciplined Welker.

Would you like to guess why?

Because Welker was behaving ~ in that Press Conference ~ as if he wasn't taking the Jets seriously.

Coach Bill benching Welker for a Series ~ not a Quarter: did you actually watch the Game?? ~ was a message to every one of the 53 to take the Jets deadly seriously.

How on earth does benching your best offensive weapon prove you take a opponent seriously?

But they'll know Saturday night who they would play so will have staff mobilized, film ready, etc. Not too worried about that aspect.
Denver will have 24 hours more rest than NE.

Plus NE has to spend a day traveling to Denver.

Plus the Mile High altitude adjustment is worse in the colder weather.

I'm rooting for Baltimore to win their next two games.

The Bengals are average team at best. Yet, they held the Texans to 1 TD all game.

That alone, tells you that the Texans has not really improved from their miserable limping into playoffs.

IMO - I dont see the Texans going any further. Patriots will win. No doubt.

The Bengals offense is not good, but their defense is much better than you think

I'm glad everyone here cleared up the fact that benching your best/most reliable offensive weapon during a playoff game doesn't mean you're over confident in your team.

I hope more coaches (or one more) uses this measure against the patriots.

Sadly, 10-day forecast for Foxboro, MA is low-40s.. No snow.

But, the 12th-man MUST show up @ Foxboro...

Anything would be better than that sunshine the ravens beat the patriots in.
