It looks like the weather is going to chilly with some precip: Rain showers and sleet, becoming all rain after 8pm. Patchy fog. Low around 32. East wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
I know that they have the game scheduled for 8:20 but most of the Sunday night games don't kick off until 8:30.
Let hope for a good game with no injuries.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
Reiss updated his blog with some links to the NFC West blog written by Mike Sando. And Sando has a stat on there that should not be surprising but jaw dropping nonetheless. Brady gets rid of the ball in 3 seconds or less 70% of the time. That is crazy.

After the Donks (and Texans) win today, New England needs this one to keep the 2nd seed for another week. Also, it would be a great win because of all the ramifications that would come with it.
But yeah: A great game, a Patriots win, and no injuries. Couldn't ask for more.
I may be on and off this tonight, as I have a project to finish up with my daughter for her school assignment, as well as some general housework to get done before game time. It's the curse and the blessing of being a single dad.

Don't normally watch the pregame show BUT there will be an interview with Vince W today, saw an excerpt, make you appreciate him as a leader in the locker room a guy who get it, a real Patriot player.

"Some guys play in all-star games, some guys don't. I don't know who picks all those all-star teams. In all honesty, I don't know who picks the combine, for that matter," Belichick said. "How does (Miami-Ohio offensive lineman Brandon) Brooks not get invited to the combine? How did Vollmer not get invited to the combine? I don't know. We can't really worry about that. We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."
I'm watching every second of the pre-game show. I live in San Jose, CA and all I see on my TV is Raiders and 49ers. Seeing and hearing the Pats players is such a rare treat, I can't wait.
