The Last Time Pats Faced a Wade Phillips Defense Was In 2007; Pats Scored 40
October 2007, in Dallas. Both teams were undefeated. We put up over 40 points on them.
Phillips was the HC then.
Instead of Watt, they had a young(er) DeMarcus Ware.
And the douche Phillips had the nerve after the game to say 'the best team didn't win.'
And the bigger douche Patrick Crayton had even more nerve to say that the Cowboys would be seeing the Patriots again that season, IF the Patriots made it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Remember?
I remember Wade Phillips saying that their goal on D was to stop the Patriots run game and make Tom Brady win it with his arm.

I remember that. Against the Giants in the divisional round (Dallas had a bye) Romo threw an interception on 4th down with under a minute to go to cough up the victory. That extended the Cowboys streak without a playoff win to eleven years and tied the NFL record of 6 straight playoff games lost. Dorks.

Guys, please stop with the c0c4y comments. While Wade Philips is surely a douche, he’s most definitely not the one who’s going to be pass-rushing Brady this coming Sunday.
J.J. Watt & Co. still scares me, and if our O-line will perform like they just did in Miami, we’re in deep 5hit. In Miami, we may have faced a tough defense, but we also faced a 5hit offense so our Defense kept the score in check. This time around, while their offense is not New England-par per say, they can hold their own, especially against our pours secondary.
I’d be ok with being c0c4y had the Pats were healthy. But without Gronk, Ahern less than 100%, Edelman out, questionable Jones, no Cunningham, most likely no Connoly, banged up Vollmer, and banged up Mankins…. I’m not too thrilled….
… and let’s not forget Lloyd, who’s been pretty much non-existent of late.
Not a hater, just a little modesty won’t hurt. Definitely wouldn’t want to jinx this game given what’s at stake.
