For those in here dissing Miami, remember the Pats ALWAYS have a tough go down in south beach.

29-28 in 2004 with a 2-14 team beating a 14-2 team and the eventual SB Champions should always make you respect of how it's never a sure thing down in Florida.

That game may very well go down as biggest upset of a Belichick Brady team.

We're going to need a good game AND a solid pass rush, hopefully if Jones doesnt play, someone picks up the slack.

If Jones is 100% he should play and not wait to be sure he is 100%.

Jones is still learning and the experience of going up against a tackle
like Jake Long is valuable. But if not 100& ok definitely wait.

A trap game is a game against a weak opponent sandwiched in between 2 big games. In this case, we've got a weak Miami team in between the Patriots biggest current rivals and the #1 team in the AFC. This is a trap game.

Fortunately, the Patriots coaching staff has been as good as anyone at keeping the players on an even keel in these situations.

I would love for Jones to Play against Miami, we have two consecutive prime time night games after Sunday...that's enough time for him to get healthy.

I guess you could use it in the sense that the Jets are our rivals (though, so is Miami), but I don't consider playing a better team this week than the team we played last week to be a trap game scenario. In other words, we played a poor team in the Jets, we're about to play a marginally better team in the Dolphins, before we play an elite team in Houston. Doesn't fit, IMO.
