By the NFL Rules, any player who is suspected of having suffered a concussion is supposed to be out for the game and not able to return. This was reinforced last year with a memo afterthe Browns allowed Colt McCoy to return during a game after a vicious hit by James Harrison and it was clear that he was suffering from a concussion.

As for the timetable, he could be cleared to practice as early as the Pats next practice, which will probably be Monday. Or, he could be out for awhile. Marc Savard is going on over 2 years now and he's still not been able to return. They lost Nathan Horton for a good portion of this past season for the same thing. Some guys are able to come back right away. Others aren't. It all depends on the severity of the concussion.

Edelman is awesome with the ball in his hands.
He's pretty good when the ball is in an opponent's hands, or on the ground.
He's nothing special when the ball is in the air, or in the QB's hand.

The last one is why he's inferior to Welker, and why he's not really a DB.

He's a pretty impressive player even so.

Then I thought he was supposed to be cut before going to jail for years for that obvious (he was guilty for sure!) act of sexual assault (which was tantamount to rape according to some ).

I investigated that whole incident...the girl and her boyfriend who made the charges were from NJ and the boyfriend was a big time Jet fan...I showed that he had a Jersey address and phone number...a few days later the whole thing went *poof*....the Boston cops knew it was bullcrap from the start and THAT is a matter of record also.

Dear Mr. Landry, thank you. - New York Jets Message Board - JetNation.com

Typical Jets fans. Only thing to celebrate is an injury to our team. Pathetic franchise, pathetic fans.

WOW! I clicked the link and read that post and the follow up posts. I have no problem celebrating a hard hit and a guy playing 'balls to the wall'. But then celebrating a guy being hurt (and wishing it could have been others too) is low even for Jet fans.
The failings of our educational institutions, parenting and the general decline of society can be found all on that one page.

Hey, you weren't called a loon by me! I was dubious of the claims, appalled by so many accepting the guilt as fact, as well as astonished by what some were trying to make the incident out to be. It would be nice if that incident ended up a teachable moment for those who rush to judgment......but it ain't likely.
