The good news is that Edelman's got about 10 days to recover, and Branch will have had 2 weeks to heal up, so they'll each have at least gotten a bit of time because of how it's all shaken out.

If the Pats cared that much about losing Salas they wouldn't have waived him - they deemed it more important to get a third string offensive tackle onto the roster. So the Eagles claiming him doesn't really bother me.
