Default Rookies Rule...

I have to show some love for are young guys.

C Jones - 34 tackles, 6 sacks, 3 FF
Hightower - 31 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FR, 1 TD
T Wilson - 31 tackles, 4 ints, 2 FR, 6 PD
Ebner - 11 tackles
Dennard - 20 tackles, 3 ints, 5 PD, 1 TD
Bolden - 234 yards, 2 TD, 5.4 YPC

Take in to account Hightower, Dennard, and Bolden have all missed games and Jones basically missed all but a few minutes on Sunday.

BB and his crew deserve a lot of credit for this years draft.

That diving pass defense that Dennard had in the Colts game was a thing of beauty.

He is going to be the steal of the 2012 draft. 7th rounder with late 1st grade coming in. I really believe he will be are #2 CB for the next 5+ seasons.

Dennard is a terrible fit for this team. Doesn't make stupid penalties, turns his head looking for the football, makes nice tackles, and isn't horribly injury prone. Can't see him lasting much longer.
The Gr8est, SaCaCh, Gumby and 13 others like this.

Hightower had a pretty nice deflection in that game too, which is something we desperately need (coverage plays from our linebackers).

I feel like Hightower is still getting his head around the NFL game — the injury didn't help — and it was nice to see some spark from him Sunday. Feels like he's just starting to scratch the surface comapred to what he can be.

Pretty nice draft class. Bill's doing Ok without Pioli.

Bolden was undrafted as was Francis who is improving. Only missing rookie from your list is Bequette and who knows, he was a practice player of the week and could be coming on the field more.

I think he has already replace Arrington - even though he's making rookie mistakes, he seems to learn from them while giving us the big play. As far as 5+ seasons, let's wait and see - he could be the next Ty Law or not!

Dennard makes mistakes, but he doesn't play scared. The Pats CBs have played afraid so much - giving WRs a huge cushion because they are afraid of getting beat that they give up reception after reception, then missing tackles that turn those recpetions into bigger plays. Just terrible. Dennard is a pit bull.
