Great performance by the Pats this week, and the board was pretty close to getting it right.
What? How can I say that? Well, if you throw out non-offensive points (the two pick-6s and Edelman's punt return) the score would have been 38-24. And we would have had a five-way tie for a perfect score first place, and more than 70 people within 8 points. Thirty two people had the Colts score exactly right.
As it actually happened, though, we still had a two-way tie for first place.

I am nose diving faster than a Karl Rove candidate on election night. 59 points? Was that really necessary?!? Sometimes I think Josh McDaniels looks at my prediction and formulates a game plan to make me look like a big fat idiot. Seriously. 59 points?!?
I'm wondering if my prediction got dropped. Either that or I am going blind I don't see myself listed in the results. It wasn't a good prediction I had pats 34 Colts 21, but it should have been on page 2.
If it didn't make it, oh well I will try again next year because I missed the first week. Thanks for a good time either way.
I normally purposefully wait until Wednesday to post so that after the initial flurry of replies the contest doesn't get lost by dropping too far down the board by Sunday. But this week is of course different.

Didn't we start with 230 contestants? So, like the 100th best now is in a sense right in the middle or average predicting.
Our max in week 2 was 218, but that includes other teams' fans in week 1 and 2 and they never post again. So Week 3's 174 is a better indicator. And dropouts skew towards those who are doing badly.

I go the opposite way. My stubborn insistence that the Pats will win big every week has nailed me more than a few times. FINALLY it pays off this week. Warming up my 45-3 prediction for Thursday night ...
