Too bad Gronk's elite run blocking is a big reason the running game is doing so well.

Right. He is a downgrade but a viable replacement. We did not have this in the Super Bowl.

It sucks, but it is not a disaster. Still many weapons. And he will be healthy for the playoffs

Gronk is also our best run blocking TE

I think our offense without Gronk would be Edelman Welker Lloyd and Fells at TE, Shaincoe as the #2 TE. Luckily we have enough depth to deal with the injuries to Hernandez and Gronk.

Anyone blaming BB for keeping starters in late obviously doesn't remember the huge comebacks we've let slide in recent years. Keep the starters in until you're up 30+, which they did.

Hernandez should be back and healthy this week. It sucks losing him and its really going to hurt in those back to back weeks against Houston and SF but we'll be alright. He'll be back and healthy by the time the playoffs role around and that's the important thing.

Jets actually did a decent job covering Welker last time they played They obviously will take their chances with tippy toe Lloyd trying to beat man to man coverage, who has failed miserably at that this year
Yup. You're right the patriots Number 1 offense in the NFL will drop to Number 20 in the NFL with the non-existance of 1 Tight End.

I heard that the Pats euthanized Gronk as of 10:00pm tonight. They had to put him down, but they saved his collar and his bowl.
