It gives further credence to the argument that the Patriots beat the Patriots.

#1 is the 1950 LA Rams at 38.8 ppg (466 pts in 12 games).
If they didn't play 16 games, I don't count them. That's an entire month less of games to maintain an average.

I don't recall the weather being the reason they slowed down in the second half. Seems like teams just figured out the offense.

Baltimore had the wind
NY had the bad weather
MIA had Brady just chucking to Moss to get the record

38 against the Giants
34 against the Steelers
31 against the Eagles

Nobody figured them out

You should call the NFL offices and tell them that no seasons before 1978 count and they should change their record books.

I'm sure they'll listen.

Maybe I will. What's their number?

Though with the guards banged up there was no inside run game today when I was expecting a 150 ish yard day from the running game. With GRONK out at least a couple weeks and the weather getting colder I hope Josh makes Ridley a bigger part of the gameplan

Scoring that much never seems to translate well in the post season.

Just think about how many high scoring offenses were held to under 24 when they lost in the playoffs
Not as many as non-high scoring offenses.

Losing Gronk for up to 6 weeks could have a pretty sizeable impact on their ability to put up 35+ ppg.

Hernandez is on his way back and Edelman is back, which should offset some of the damage
