The total doesn't surprise me, because it was clearly bad. Also doesn't surprise me that the primary culprits were in the secondary.

4+2+2+2+2+1=13 .: 52% of missed tackles by front seven.

Anomoly. The Patriots were one of the best tackling teams in the NFL through 8 games. Bad day plus Spiller and Jackson.

It has a lot to do with the subpar performance than the talent. We were clearly not getting up for the Bills.

Will be very interesting to gauge the temperature of this team when Houston and SF come to town.

I'm also very interested in seeing how Talib's presence will change the scheme of the front 7. My expectation (and hope) is that they put Talib in man and this allows for schemes with more gamble (e.g. mulitple blitzes).

I think it was a fluke. They are usually very good at wrapping up the runner...not last sunday. Should change on sunday
