The Patriots have waived CB Sterling Moore, and signed DB Derrick Martin and LB Mike Rivera, according to a league source.
Good IMO. Moore has been pretty awful. Now if only they could cut Arrington.

For a 22 year old UDFA he showed flashes, but ultimately got burnt too many times.

Had high hopes for him after last year. To me, he was our best at sticking to the receiver.

And so a swap of Carpenter for Rivera as well.

Bad move.

Why waive someone who has been in the system a couple years now and has made a few plays?

They bring in someone unproven who is going to need time to learn the system, and then another LB in our already loaded LB corps? The LB is never going to see the field.

Sterling Moore mustve done something really really wrong behind the scenes.
