It's more than a little ridiculous to close the book on a kid barely old enough to drink. He made TWO CONSECUTIVE bigtime plays at the end of the AFCCG. He's made several big plays already and is a proven tackler. He's not a polished professional at 22. Off with his head?
Obviously, we live in an immediate gratification society these days. I'm glad they got him onto the PS.

As am I, Shmessy, as am I.
I thought that he certainly deserved another look after leading the entire secondary in passes defended in the postseason last year (and having a very nice game vs BUF as a starter late in the year before that), and I am glad that he got that opportunity.
Having a young system player on the practice squad after contributing in almost 1/2 of the snaps so far this year certainly cannot hurt, especially considering the fact that we see so many players come/go who never amount to anything.
In my opinion, it certainly can't hurt to have someone on there should injuries dictate a move to the 53 man roster later on in the year. Not only that, he may need an additional year or two to work some things out, as you already said.
There are so many things we just don't have the proper amount of information for to fully and fairly 100% accurately assess the future for a player like that, but if Bill Belichick saw fit in taking advantage of creating an
additional roster space AND shoring up a better player on the PS (who will contribute to the specific gameplan every week and continue learning/working in the process) then I don't see how so many would want to argue about it?
I love the comments from the 'expert' who claimed that Moore had 'regressed' during training camp (much to the dismay of many of the beat writers who covered TC and claimed that he 'clearly' looked to have the best coverage skills in our secondary). I suppose that he 'regressed' so much that Bill Belichick 'only' used him in almost 1/2 the snaps this year and had him covering Larry Fitzgerald.
He may be lacking in some areas, but I see nothing wrong with carrying him as a low end roster player or practice squad player. Not only would he not have had any PS eligibility left had he played in one more game, but Belichick likely had the groundwork of the Talib acquisition set forth at that time also.
It's amazing how quick some people are to judge without having enough information with so many issues.
