Default Brady wasn't sacked vs Rams - first time this season!

This was the first game this season where Brady wasn't sacked. When Brady doesn't feel the pressure, he plays 10 times better. I know there are some people who like to deny it, but Brady plays poorly if the defenders are getting him onto the ground. I'm very happy about the pass protection today, as well as the run blocking, which for the most part looked great.

If the O line can continue to hold up well and Gronk can stay healthy, this offense should continue to dominate. And as long as everyone gets healthy we will be set.

The interesting thing is that, he has played very well when Mankins is not playing. Make of it what you want.

Ryan Wendell has been playing great. Another graduate from Scar U, I like him better than Koppen/Connolly at C.

Most QBs play less well under pressure. Not terribly surprising.

Seriously the fact that people always say this to try and slight Brady as if every single QB doesn't do this is obnoxious.

Sacked, I can only think of 2 times that he was TOUCHED. I roared at the hilarity of the announcers giving the St Louis DL some credit for putting pressure on Brady when he made just a 3 step drop and couldn't find anyone open. He still had plenty of time.

Right, but to me it seems like there is a more drastic change in his game compared to other QBs. One week, people think Brady is an above average QB at best who's exiting his prime, and the next week he's phenomenal. my point is that the pressure affects his play more than the other elite QBs. And since when is Brady and "most QB's" aloud in the same thought?

how are you measuring this? Which "other" QBs? AFC Qbs or NFC Qbs? Are they above 5'10"? Home or Away? 1pm or 4pm games? etc.. etc...

Just my observation. But I'd rather not get into the "Brady uncomfortable in the pocket" argument again.

Gotta give kudos to the OL!
Great protection for Brady and good blocking up front to allow Ridley to 'do his thing'.
I look forward to seeing this line continue to gel and improve.
Especially as guys get healthier, such as Mankins, etc.
