Default Is 'Jetlag' to London a worry, departing late in week ?

Been worried as game day approaches. We only arrived 48 hours before the Game,,,whereas the Rams arrived 4 days before us. I have done Boston - London a few times, and after a night flight it takes me roughly two days to get over it 100% and get the time clock working normal. I wish they would have arrived on the wednesday rather than friday. Who am i to tell BB that but still my worry some of our players will feel it during the Game. Hope not,,,your thoughts please. GO PATS.

I think Bill timed it perfectly. I think Jeff paniced. We got in a normal week of practice under optimal conditions for the most part. His teams been on a road trip all week and practicing through jet lag. But since you're going to find something to worry about either way...have at it.

It's only 5 hours - 4 hours on game day because the clocks change this weekend.

You can almost still live on Eastern time in the UK and not miss much. If there's going to be a problem it will probably be when they get back to America.

They could just stay up until 3am (10pm Eastern - 11pm tomorrow) and get up at 11am (6am Eastern - 7am tomorrow) for example, that could work with the game starting at 5pm here.

They've done this in 09. I'm sure they got good advice on travel and travelled with plenty of space for the players to stretch their legs.

They will be fine.

That (jetlag) was my first thought as well when I read that they took a red eye and arrived at 7 am in London. Upon further review this is the same schedule when they played Tampa Bay three years ago and that worked out pretty well, a nearly flawless 35-7 victory.

Yeah....I think with Kraft as the owner, they would be flying in only the best.

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

They flew in on a Boeing 747-400. Think those suckers have a 600 seat capacity... the CBA stipulates players minimum seating of 2 or 3 seats per player. I'm sure they had whole rows to themselves on this baby. Doubt the traveling party topped 120. Brady exited the flight full sized pillow in hand. It's only a 6 hour flight, same as the left coast.

There's an article on nfl.com where Brady says most of the players slept during the flight too so jet lag will hardly be a factor, if at all.

It's next weekend not this one.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.
