I share your frustrations, however being injury prone doesn't make someone soft. It's not his fault we wasted a high 2nd rounder on him.

Ras IR Dowling

33rd overall pick in the NFL draft with Torrey Smith and Randall Cobb still around? Pathetic

I wonder what it would take to get either Brandon Flowers from KC or Joe Haden from CLE. Neither team is going anywhere and Flowers makes over 8M and Haden almost 6M. With all of their needs maybe one of them would take a draft picks + players package. With their success drafting in the secondary I'd take a run at a proven player. Haden is coming off the suspension as well which may lower the asking price. I'd say take a run at Eric Berry too but he appears to be coming on after the ACL surgery and I imagine he's not available. Haden and Flowers probably aren't either but a guy can dream.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

Built like Cromartie, plays like one of Cromartie's 27 kids.

More than what this team is willing to spend. Haden is coming into his own as a dominant CB and Flowers ain't too shabby, either.

On a side note, wasn't it the Rams we played in 2004 with a secondary situation similar to this one? How ironic is that?

I realize I'm being a little fatalistic, but Dowling was integral to the plan of keeping Arrington inside/off the field. As long as Arrington is more than a CB3 we're basically screwed, IMO.

Arrington seeing extended playing time due to this reason alone is one of the reasons why I said that a move has to be made at this point.

It's sad how much pressure on our secondary has come on a 7th round rookie to perform. Dennard NEEDS to perform and solidify one of the starting CB spots.

If Dennard can't get it done, I'd rather Moore out there than Arrington, atleast maybe he'll cause a fumble or jump a route...

Mccourty, Dennard, Arrington, Moore

It's come down to this with Wheatley, Butler, Dowling all drafted, thanks alot Bill.

No doubt he's a stud. Haden was too high for the Pats to have a shot in the draft but I along with everybody else would have loved to have had him. Flowers was available and I really wanted them to take him. Maybe a 2nd rounder plus a player or two.......

Troy Brown isn't walking through that door.....
