3.) Counting 2009, the Patriots have only lost 14 regular season games in 3+ seasons, and 6 of them came in that 2009 year when Brady was still recovering from the ACL surgery.
On the last two touchdowns by the Seattle Seahawks, led by the immortal Russell Wilson, the defense gave up a 51-yard pass with 15 yards tacked on for roughing the passer that led to the TD making it 23-17.
Two Seattle drives later, Wilson connected with Golden Tate on a 46-yard TD pass.
The lead was blown by the defense, not the offense.

I don't know about since 2009, but I do know I don't want to see anymore close games because them's the kinds we lose. It's getting so that whoever has the ball last is the winner and we aint got the ball last in any of our close games from the Superbowl till yesterday.
Yesterday we needed a lousy 3 points to ice the game and had all the time in the world to achieve that---and failed. So 23-10 became... yup just what we all feared... a 23-24 loss. that second field goal that we were counting on after the last field goal just never came. gettin so I dont want no more close games because we are finding ways to lose them all. blow them out, if that's the only way you can win.

4.) It should come as no surprise that they're losing a "lot" of leads, because they're usually in the lead. That's what happens when you're an elite team with a powerful offense.
so.....when up 13 points halfway through the 4th quarter, we should not be able to expect the #1 offense in the NFL to control the ball long enough? or they simply keep throwing incompletions to save the opponent time outs?

I guess our new Pats get pretty discombobulated in close games.

When up 13 points halfway through the 4th quarter against a team that's only put up 10 points to that point, you should expect, generally:
A defense not to give up 14 points.
It's pretty basic stuff, unless you're looking for nits to pick.
Again, the team has lost a combined total of 14 regular season games since Brady's return from ACL surgery, and 6 of the 14 games were in his first season back. Crying about Brady's performance in the last 5 minutes of a few games is about as asinine as it gets.
Then again, this is Patsfans.com, where the Homers would defend the Kenneth Sims draft pick all over again, and the Criers actually look for reasons to attack Tom Brady and Wes Welker.

but you're not expecting the offense that gained 480 yards to gain a few more on at least one drive? when its needed most?
yep pretty basic stuff.....we knew the defense has issues before the game. BB knew he was going to have to put wilson and ebner out there........with all that ability and money spent on the offensive side of the ball, you'd figure that they'd earn it

I'm expecting a team that's put up 480 yards against one of the better defenses in the league to have done enough to win when they've given a 13 point lead to the defense facing one of the league's worst offenses.
Yes, basic stuff. No matter how often you repeat the inanity of blaming Brady, it's never going to morph into the right gripe to be making.
