I am pointing out that those 89 plays ran is an awsome number of plays and by itself demonstrates control of the game. The score does not say as much as those number of plays. Highly inordinate, very, very highly inordinate.

You're saying both colts and pats ran 89 plays? Mike Reiss wrote 94 plays on offense. I guess that includes kneel downs?

That includes penalties, which aren't official snaps.
Correct, Mike Reiss includes penalties because it's still interesting to see how often players make it onto the field (even if the play ends up in a accepted holding penalty).
