Default Going against the Grain... Our Defense played well last night

I think that sums it up perfectly.

Our defense was shutting out the Ravens offense. Forcing 3 and outs the entire 1st qtr.

Until the refs decided to start extending drives that had no business being extended. Ravens should've been forced to punt to the Pats numerous times.

Gregory made a nice INT.

Chandler Jones and Kyle Love had a sack that should've set the Ravens back 12 yards. (Negated by a phantom hold on Spikes, where the Ravens player actually held him)

Jones and Ninkovich were being held all game. Funny how the refs barely called holding on OLines yet they called numerous Defensive holding..... actually there were probably more Defensive Holding calls in last nights game than in the entire 2011 season for the Pats. I have NEVER seen a game officiated that way.

Torrey Smith blatant push off on a TD catch.

Ray Rice had a nice drive where he was running it and we couldn't stop it. But our D was tired out thanks to the extended drive before that (which never should've happened).

Mayo played well as usual. Spikes brings a toughness that can match any Ravens player.

Overall 2 Ravens TD drives should've ended in them punting to us, and 1 TD was a blatant push off.

It's not so crazy to think that our Defense wouldve held the Ravens to just 10 points if that game were officiated properly.

Only thanks to the referees.

Numerous drives should've ended with Ravens punting, but got extended on phantom defensive holding calls. It was the most PATHETIC officiating I have ever seen in any professional sport. Ever. Period.

Yeah we couldn't hold up on that last drive. But can you really blame them? We couldn't lay a finger on WR's. Couldn't jam them even inside of 5 yards. Our DLine was being grabbed around the neck and no holding was being called.

Jones/Love combined sack was negated by a phantom penalty. So instead of moving them back 12 yards, then moved forward for positive yardage and a 1st down.

I don't think ANY defense, even the AFC Pro Bowl Defense, could've stopped the Ravens offense on that last drive with the way the refs were calling the game.

Wonder where the game goes if Mayo isn't flagged for a phantom PI....

It looked like it would be another game like the Pats-Jets game from 2010 at the end of the regular season.

We were on our way to blowing them out.

47-10 maybe. Who knows what the final score should've been. The refs made that a completely different game than it should've been.

no doubt we left plays on the field, notably the dropped interceptions, but did you even watch the game?

The defense played well enough to hold most teams on most nights with most referee crews to under 20 points.
