Yates really made an impression, huh? I don't agree with replacing him on the roster but last night he gave me absolutely no ammo with which to defend him...so I won't.
Number of DBs looks a little heavy. Sanders strikes me as a little redundant with Meriweather and Spann. Do you see him as being a true corner (not a combo guy) and what does that mean for Bryant? I was looking for Bryant and didn't see his best effort...but I didn't focus as much on Sanders. Am I missing something with Sanders?
What did you think about Pollard vs. Stupar? Both got opportunities but I have to admit I liked what I saw from Stupar. I'm not a Pollard fan but I try not to let that affect my judgement.
Did either Guyton or Redd make enough of an impression on you to creep closer to making the cut? I see both of them as projects but I was impressed that neither seemed out of place or lost in the opportunities they got.
Agree with you statement about PUP. If Neal, Wright, etc. aren't practicing by this time next week, you have to seriously think that PUP is more likely.

Not to jinx anything, but as we saw with two guys going down last night with knee injuries, the final roster might be more a work of necessity than luxury. Hopefully the two injuries are minor and Aiken & Williams are fine, but just goes to show that one snap and all of a sudden you are out a starting [fill in the blank].
It's why I like the way BB has been handling the star players at camp. He's certainly doing everything he can to marginalize any opportunities for injuries.

Because he was a high draft pick that hasn't really had much of a chance to play in regular season duty. He might have looked like rubbish last night, but that doesn't mean his career is over.
Please let's not have a re-run of the already-locked Chad Jackson thread ...

If BB is making 53 decisions based on what round guys were picked in, then he's gone senile. This full training camp will make or break players, not their ancient histories.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

Lewis Sanders did a good job staying with the receivers after he
replaced Fernando Bryant. Bryant was disappointing.
I hope the Patriots keep extra linebackers so they can keep both
Guyton and Redd. Guyton made a terrific play on the return man.
