A lot of people are talking about how there isn't anyone else who can fill his 'role', I want to know what role you are talking about. Nothing he does can't be picked up by another player, or group of players. He's certainly not indispensable.

Woodhead has no trade value.
You seem to have a rather defective "labeling" system.

Ya might want to start there and then double back.

Wow, really? 500+ yds on 4.6 yds/carry and 8.7 yds/catch from the #3 guy on your RB depth chart, while injured, isn't "productive"? That's a mighty high standard. In fact, I wonder whether any #3 back in the league could meet it.

His production is easily replaced...which is why he has no trade value.

How much would you give up for Chris Ogbonnaya?

Getting rookies who don't make the 53 to the PS should be easier this year because of the scramble to pick up veterans being cut from 90 man rosters in a short time period. There will be 300+ more potential experienced gap fillers being released to the FA market via waiver wire than ever. And there may also be less gaps in existence than ever before due to teams having the ability to run 90 man rosters throughout camp and into the pre season.

Unless Vereen can stay healthy, and also the Pats decide to resign Faulk, I don't think Woodhead is going anywhere. That being said, I think Woodhead is going to have a huge year. If healthy, he's an awesome weapon. I love what he brings to the team, he's the Welker of the RB's.

I'd say the Browns would get a conditional pick for Ogbonnaya. Now compare his best season:

334 yards rushing (4.6 ypc), 165 yards receiving (7.2 ypr), 1 TD 2 FUM

to Woodhead's best season:

547 yards rushing (5.6 ypc), 379 yards receiving (11.1 ypr), 6 TD 1 FUM

Or didn't have the same draft pedigree as a guy ahead of him and gets cut even though he is better in camp. Say a guy like... Danny Woodhead.

So yeah I can see Bolden taking Addai's spot or even Woodhead's spot if he is better.

I have reason to believe Woodhead wasn't 100% for much of last season. Towards the end of the season he regained the burst he had in 2010. Had a good Super Bowl and would've been one of the heroes had we won.

He probably won't duplicate the 2010 #'s because there will hopefully be multiple other consistent options going forth, in 2010 it was strictly him and BJGE. But effectiveness should be there or better. I'd almost call him a lock along with Vereen/Ridley. Addai most likely makes it but I'm hoping one more veteran RB is brought in to push him for that spot.

When was Ogbonnaya a valued member of a top three offense?

Yards by default makes your observation N/A.

Woody makes a good 3rd or 4th RB depth and I think he sticks another year.

What I don't want to see is Woody on kick returns....There are others on this team who are better for that job.
