Default Shawn Crable looks like a keeper

This is pretty remarkable. What an example of hustling. Shawn Crable gets knocked down in the process of nearly taking down Michigan State's speedy running back Javon Ringer on one sideline, then runs him down 72 yards downfield on the other side of the field. Are you kidding me?

I haven't seen hustle like this for a long time (check 40 seconds into the video):

BTW, this play was instrumental in Michigan winning by three points this past season; State couldn't punch it in on this series and had to settle for a field goal. They lost by three points.

Ringer, although he had major knee surgery, is still capable of doing 4.35 in the forty. There's no way in the world a linebacker should be able to catch him like that.

Let's hope Crable doesn't do this, though:

How Crable played against guys who will be working this summer at Home Depot is irrelevant. The NFL competition and specificly the NE Patriots is SO different a level.

Although you probably think you are witty, you obviously don't know your Big Ten football.

As Bill Parcells would say, "You don't know what you're talking about."

Javon Ringer is a player who projected to be drafted just after the first round if he escapes injury and can show the excellent speed he possessed before the knee injury. He's already being talked about as a Heisman candidate, although of the sleeper variety.

Running him down like that was not an easy thing to do. All heart and hustle.

I am witty. DookFish don't do paragraphs. Pissah don't do Girly Ball.

You can say what you want about the competition, but that play says some important things. It shows great speed for a big guy, and excellent hustle where he refused to give up. Be as witty as you want, but that's a great play, on ANY level !!

I'm surprised the obvious Benjamin Watson tackle of Champ Bailey comparison hasn't been made yet.

I bet Troy Smith didn't scramble much after that hit.........That wasn't exactly "real late".

Maybe he'll get chance to introduce himself again when they play the Ravens next week.......

More accurately: he tried to tackle Ringer near the LOS and failed, got up and pursued Ringer, got knocked to the ground (again), got up a second time and chased him down.

I do agree that that says "hustle" in spades.
