Re: VIDEO: Brady,Welker and their women vacationing in Costa Rica
I see they have both of our potential 2030 QB's with them on the trip... Wes and Anna better get a move on. They'll need a slot WR. Tom and Gisele can't be expected to produce a receiving corps all by themselves too.
Re: VIDEO: Brady,Welker and their women vacationing in Costa Rica
Two thoughts.
One. They really don't get much privacy do they? I mean that beach looks pretty deserted to me.
Two. Here's how I imagined the call between Brady and Welker after Bundchen's blowup.
"Hey, man, Gise sure hopes you're not mad at her. You know how she's pretty passionate and gets worked up."
"It's cool. And that Giants fan was a real ******* to her. I'd have said a lot worse **** about us if I was her."
"Great. Ready to hit the beach in a couple of weeks?"
"You know it, dude."

He's not with Randy and the Wilfork's either... Maybe he's with TO. Or in a cave somewhere studying his playbook and reviewing film.
Or more likely he's busy getting ready to start filming his March Basketball Wives reality spinoff where one of them actually does get married, only to a football player.

So much for locker room "issues."
Yes, I definitely could see the convo going something like that for the sake of keeping peace. If it was necessary to invade their privacy, at least it helped to quell the media dragging this on and on.
That said, I beg to differ regarding her responsibility in the matter. She is a very public figure with a history of controversial public statements (e.g. breastfeeding). Yet, she continues to make them. Her comments were inappropriate and replete with entitlement. She definitely knows better. Blaming a Giants fan is just a feeble attempt to displace the blame. Giselle is not above being accountable for her actions having consequences and that is a reasonable cost for her fame and fortune.
Jacobs comments were inappropriate as well and he indeed needed to offer an apology.
The people I felt for the most were Welker and his fiance. It takes a person with strong character to own such a situation that was only partially his burden.
