Can't this just be a fun, positive, light hearted thread? Why do people feel the need to come in an ruin the fun.

PATS 19-0 is without question.

I really like our chances next year but it took so many things to fall into place for us to go 18-0 in 0-7 a lot of balls bounced our way. You have to be not just good but lucky as well. That said I definitely like our chances in the AFC next year and maybe we'll get a super bowl opponent who we match up well against.

The SB loss this year has nothing on the 2007 loss. What don't kill you can only make you stronger. Hopefully in NE's case this makes them stronger. The Pats will win their 4th SB very soon. They're so close.
Totally agree. All the undefeated talk messed up the Packers this year too.

It's hard enough to win a Superbowl without the added pressure of playing for perfection.

Going undefeated is nothing compared to Brady's fourth ring.

History shows us that teams that are 18-0 going into the Superbowl win 50% of the time. I'll take those odds any day.

Brady's going to be like Rocky this offseason. Same with Wes. And everyone else who could have done better.

Grank and Hernandez should be moving into their prime. We've got good cap and draft prospects. At the end of the season we saw some sparks of play making in Moore and Spikes.

We've got McDaniels back, who did brilliant things in 2007. He's hungry for revenge from the end of that season too.

Nothing like a little defeat and a little mockery to stoke the fires.

2012 will be a historical year for BB + TB.

A big middle finger to the rest of the league.
Eh, what did they do after SB42? Im sure they were a little upset with that. Especially Strahan getting on stage and perminately stomping the pats out.

Brady got injured for the year and Matt Cassell became the highest paid backup QB in history by the Chiefs

Come on you buncha millies with these 12-4, low expectations crap. You want the best, you need to have the balls to ask for it.

Let me share a little secret with you.

Does anyone here have any idea why the Red Sox finally won the World Series in 2004?

2 Reasons.

1. The Pats won in 2001. This made the most negative sports town in the world believe that holy crap it was possible to be happy and win. It was like a revelation for most people.

2. The Sox went down 3-0 against the Yankees and everyone gave up and stopped thinking negative thoughts because they assumed it was already over. Another words, all the aholes who believe the sky is falling took their black cloud somewhere else for a day. And lo and behold, the Sox turned it around. These jonah's were in such a shock that the team beat the Yankees and Cardinals before they could drag their black cloud back over.

Sadly these negative nancies are back now and the Patriots are their victim of choice. I saw it when I read posts about how people feared the Giants in the Super Bowl. Are you kidding me, you feared a 9-7 team that gave up more points than they scored this year? The Patriots should have wiped the floor with them. Instead the boogey man made yet another appearance and surprise surprise we had a self fulfilling prophecy of failure.

The only curse that ever existed in Boston was the negative people surrounding the sports team. If they can stop crapping their pants for five minutes maybe this team can show you something you've never seen before.

Believe *****es! Your reality is what you make of it.

2008: Suffers season-ending injury in first game

2011: Defeated by Ravens again

I can't buy into the "Brady's pissed and wants revenge" theory anymore. The guy's season has ended in the most gut wrenching fashion every year since 2006. (Can make an argument for 2005 as well, though I don't feel it's as bad as any of the above)

It's more Belichick than Brady. He holds the keys to the store.
